Travel to eastern europe In Moscow. There is an exclusive new tour that will be offered on the Trans-Siberian Railway this summer. A special tourist train will travel Moscow to Beijing on the Trans-Mongolian route of the world's longest railroad, with the first trips beginning in August 2011.
Since the train is designed for tourists, the level of comfort that it provides will be higher than in usual Russian trains. It will offer many stops for sightseeing and excursions, so the journey will be longer as well. The tour is organized by RzhD-Tour, which is a subsidiary company of Russian Railways, in cooperation with Intourist, a first-rate Russian tour operator. The trip from Moscow to Beijing will take 12 days, and will feature a 2 day excursion program in Beijing before departing that city on a return trip to Moscow. It will stop at numerous cities and monuments along the way, with guided tours to allow passengers to explore cities like Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, and Ulaanbaator.
